I'm betting you all know who Quentin Tarantino is and either you love his movies, or dislike them. I haven't really found anyone who just thinks they are "meh".
I'm not the biggest fan of Pulp Fiction, in fact I disliked it a bit, but his movie Deathproof is amazing. It started out really boring because you follow some girls who are just ordinary boring girls and the scenes are dragged out for WAY longer than they should.
BUT! (Oh yes, there's always a but. What else would you sit on?) The girls goes to some bar and the movie starts to follow several people in the bar. Things start to get interesting and all of a sudden, awesome stuff happens.
I'm not going to reveal anything, but the I really don't like how the main character suddenly "shifts" personality in the ending. The way it ended was fucking funny though. I laughed my ass off xD
I don't think the movie is that long, so you should go check it out if you get a chance to see it. It's quite awesome
it was pretty good, but not his best work.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the "strongly dislike" category, so I'm skipping this one, any every other movie he makes. :D
ReplyDeletehis older films are better
ReplyDeleteJust for the record it's definitely not a new movie. It was one half of Grindhouse, which hit theaters like 3-4 years ago IIRC.
ReplyDeleteGah, everyone is talking about butts today!? What is up with that? LOL.There must be a buzz out.
ReplyDeleteI love this flick.
ReplyDeleteHot chicks and quarky violence.
Oh yeah, it's not a new movie. Maybe I should have mentioned that :P
ReplyDeleteI love quentin tarantino movies but deathproof wasnt one of my favourites, you should watch inglorious basterds or resevoir dogs
ReplyDeletei only saw the mutant zombie half of grindhouse.. and loved it. i should totally check this out.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteUUUUUH DAT'S A BINGOO. Inglorius Bastards is awesome ^^
ReplyDeleteLove Pulp Fiction
ReplyDeleteI prefer Planet Terror
ReplyDeleteNice post, keep updating :]
ReplyDeleteIf it's got Kurt Russle in it, it's worth watching.
ReplyDeleteIt's good ^^
ReplyDeleteI loved pulp fiction, and i guess I'll love deathproof!
ReplyDeleteI quite like them :)
ReplyDeletenot a big quintin fan but inglorious basterds was pretty great, i may have to check this one out
ReplyDeleteI had always heard that out of the two grindhouse features, Planet Terror was better, so I picked up that one, and it is damn good. I'll have to finally go back and check out Deathproof though, thanks for reminding me.
ReplyDeletewell, i would say deathproof was the "meh"est of his movies :F
ReplyDeleteI had a meh feeling from grindhouse
ReplyDeleteI love Tarantino, legend of the silver screen. Keep up the good work, thanks for my comment also.
ReplyDeleteThe main problem I have with Tarantino movies is that the dialog, although usually cleverly written, drags too much. It's just not my thing.
ReplyDeleteI love Tarantino !
ReplyDeleteI'll probably check it out, I need new movies to watch
ReplyDeleteQuentin is a king, never fails to disapoint, not seen this though or grindhouse.
ReplyDeleteyou make interesting points
ReplyDeletehaven't seen it, but i will for sure
ReplyDeletei actually thought death proof was meh. tarantino does much better in his other films.
ReplyDeleteI'll check it out than!
ReplyDeleteI will have to check it out. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletei can't take that guy, his movies are so long and drawn out. so many scenes should have landed on the cutting room floor
ReplyDeleteI liked the car. Were you able to spot the feet scene? Apparently Quentin Tarantino always puts a foot fetish scene in his movies.
ReplyDeleteGoing to try to watch this again. I tried before but just like you said the start was slow and boring.
ReplyDeletewas pretty good indeed
ReplyDeletePulp fiction is one of my favorite movies. IF YOU SAY WHAT ONE MORE TIME. Oh man, tis' great.
ReplyDeleteI'm the opposite of you man, I didn't like this movie, but enjoyed pretty much all of his other ones lol
ReplyDeleteI'm the opposite. I hated Deathproof, and loved Pulp fiction. The beginning was just too boring. I admit the part where the chick's leg gets ripped off was awesome, but I still didn't like it overall.
ReplyDeleteVery true, its an awesome movie.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely gotta check this movie out.
ReplyDeleteisnt it convenient that there were 42 comments on this post before me and today is 101010
ReplyDeletewhich when translated from binary to decimal gives the answer to life the universe and everything
Definitely not a Tarantino fan. I find his movies to be pretentious, overly long, boring and too self-conscious to be taken seriously (or enjoyed for that matter).
ReplyDeletePulp Fiction was great, Nazi Hunters was retarded.
ReplyDeleteWow, you just blew my mind Joebloggs :O
